    Arroyo Ride

Possibly our most awe-inspiring ride, El Arroyo is either a 3 or 5 hour ride through the wilds of Baja. Begin on the Mesa north of Villa Santa Cruz and take in views of the Sierra, canyons, desert and Pacific Ocean as we descend the Great Canyon wall into the Arroyo. The Arroyo was once part of the ocean and today is still a channel for freshwater running from the Sierra mountains. We will look for fossils and shark teeth buried in ancient sands before breaking for a ranch style lunch with food prepared for you by locals. Perhaps you will have the chance to take your horse for an adrenaline pumping gallop. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience with authentic guides.

    • 5 hours – $10,000 MXN + tax per rider

You can also add an excursion to go visit our herd of wild donkeys – please advise your guide in advance if you want to meet the burros!

One week per month, we saddle our horses up and ride just by the light of the moon. A quiet 90-minute ride along the shoreline, listen to the waves and connect with your horse bathed in the glow of the moon.
