José Olvera, “MOCKA”, (born May 8, 1990 in Oaxaca de Juarez, Mexico). Graphic designer and self-taught plastic artist. José Olvera begins with a taste for painting from an aerosol, the approach to graffiti and free expression on different formats gave him the confidence of being able to experiment with various techniques and mix them together in order to find his own style.
The signature with which he seals his paintings, Mocka, goes back to those beginnings of a high school boy who approached graffiti and to the stencil. However, his interest in pints was more artistic than vandalism. Therefore, he began a self-taught education, through the Internet, where he learned about the work of Banksy, Blek le Rat and other street artists from a high level with those who discovered that with paper, the spray and the blades could generate much more complex parts.
